The South West
Regional Development Agency acquired 4 hectares (10 acres) of land
in the core docks in November 2001. The land, which is bounded by
Commercial Road, Southgate Street, Llanthony Road and the main
Dock basin includes 125,000sq.ft of Grade II listed warehouses;
the currently derelict Albert, Double Reynolds, Vinings and Biddle
and Shipton warehouses. The warehouses are suitable for conversion
to a variety of uses including residential, leisure and
commercial. |
